Genentech's parent company, Roche approached us to help them provide a curated internal news application for their global Product Development teams. Qualitative research and rapid prototyping tools allowed us to deliver a fully documented design file in under 6 months. The app is due to launch internally in March 2017.

The client chose a topic-forward organizational structure and a newsprint visual theme (we fondly named it 'Chronicle') from the few options we gave them. This resulted in a simple app organized into three sections; Top News, Explore and Account - as seen in the nav. Upon launching, the user will always arrive at Top News, being greeted by a large hero image and transparent header which provides a fresh feel every time new content is added.
